Transistors switching


this is the set up


This is our initial set up, but for the next step we will use our fingers instead of the the wire connecting the led and the resistor

Here's the data collected 

We can observe in the graph that the two currents are directly proportional forming a linear function. That means that when one increases the other increases as well. 

We found beta by applying the following equation beta=(a2/a1) -1 and we got 5 miliamps and we see that the currents doesn't saturate because the potentiometer prevents that of happening   

Nodal analysis



Objective: 
      Learn more nodal analysis and how KCL can become a very powerful tool when solving circuits with several resistors in parallel.

We set up the circuit and now compare the power



Next the requirements are that 9v=v2=v3 so this is what we would get 

Observations
The actual power is pretty close to the values we found at the beginning of the lab.

Extra Credit: Chinese Engineering Conference


Introduction to Biasing





















Objective:
     the purpose of the lab is use the right resistance so that the LED can work normally without burning out.









conclusion: 
          Both LED works normally during the lab, the error is acceptable.  we conclude that the error was because the LEDs light are not rated correctly.

Introduction to DC Circuits


Introduction:
      this lab is trying to find the maximum cable length and the minimum power to load. also to find the discharge time, power to the load, and power lost







Data and analysis:




Conclusion:
     
     A submarine with power of 0.1281w can travel with up to 115.91m of AWE#30 cable provided . With 92.56% distribution efficiency,the submarine can operate for about 5 mins.
